If the shepherds were out in the fields at the time, Jesus was born in autumn. Sucks to be Sol Invictus, the Roman sun god whose birthday the new Christian cult usurped, though.

  The calendar was redefined gradually because of wrong leap years. Also, Mediterranean climates, Jesus’s homeland didn’t have snow in the winter.
