One does not move to Santa Fe to be ostentatious despite property values. This all tracks. Doesn’t make it any better how it played out.
Northern New Mexico is a world you have to experience for yourself to fully grasp. It is utterly unlike anywhere else I’ve lived, but I was drawn to it because of childhood experiences.
