I accidentally let some of the Anethum get way too leggy, whoops. They’re still pretty freshly germinated, so a little breeze from a fan should fix things and they should straighten up some and get a little stronger. It wasn’t a big dill.

That’s so much earlier than we get to plant outside, ohmygosh! Just because I chose to live this far north doesn’t mean I can’t be jealous of you folks further south…

In Texas, we play a delicate game between last frost date and sear-your-eyebrows-off heat. Growing here from June-August can be difficult without the proper balance of shade and sun and consistent irrigation. We have a ton of natives that love this weather, but not many are good to eat. All this to say, I’m jealous of people who can have a simple veggie garden all summer!
