    It really depends on how your feed is setup. Also do you sort by hot or new. New is moreover fun as you are the one picking what to highlight. Also it’s a good idea to check on your favorite communities to see if any other instances have pop up of that community.

      I have been sorted by new otherwise there’s not enough content for one day. Good point! How would you find new instances for a community?

        I subscribe to new communities community https://lemmy.world/c/newcommunities plus using lemmy explore site https://lemmyverse.net/communities. Also tagging people when you talk to them. So when you meet them again you have context to get to know people in lemmy. So they become more like real people vs just usernames providing content. In my experience if you put a little work into it. You find friends and lemmy starts to feel like an old school forum.
