Hamas fired a barrage of 10 rockets at southern Israel on Sunday night, triggering sirens in multiple communities including Ashdod and Ashkelon.

The IDF said that approximately five projectiles were successfully intercepted by the Israeli Air Force, and that falls were identified in several areas.

Projectile fragments reportedly fell in Ashkelon and Gan Yavne, damaging vehicles. Five people who were reported to be lightly wounded were taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
