The last time there was a sale on poster printing, when I went to pick up my poster, it was total chaos. I waited for a half an hour and then started to talking to the only person working who knew the machines who was very sick. Then, another worker, who doesn’t know how to work the machines tried to help. Printer wouldn’t work.
We were an hour in and I told the worker that you just have to trim the paper cleanly or it won’t take it. I’ve worked with these kind of machines my entire life and knew instantly. Everyone was frazzled so I didn’t want to make it worse. I told them I’ll wait. They dismissed my input.
A half hour later, the worker asked if I would come behind the desk. I had them trim it and I followed the directions on the screen and then put the paper in and it worked.
Then, yesterday, I was trying to buy something that would have been $20 cheaper if I had my name input in the system. It said I didn’t exist. In the end, I was doing both the workers input and my own input back and forth because the manager was nowhere to be found.
I’m not getting paid, but I might be working there.
Could be, lol. I did help anyone that would come after me.
Buuuuuuut, during my hour and a half long wait, I saw 5 people not wait or walk away from their orders because they were bad. The sick worker was definitely stay home sick and probably getting all of their fellow workers sick as well. It was a shitshow.
Did I mention, they sent me an email saying my order was ready? I’m assuming people were walking in expecting to pay and walk away too. It’s a “what not to do” kind of place.
