    I don’t think capybaras should be pets but if one would hang around my porch, would I feed it?! Yes. If they would come into my house by their own will, would I let them?! yes. If one would j.ump in my bed with my dogs to sleep, would I put it down? No. so…maybe it’s no ones fault maybe capy wants to be my pet

    Do cappys make good pets? I see them being like gentle giant guinea pigs. I was once fortune to meet some South African porcupines and they were sweet as pie…I imagine cappys being similar, just less pokey.

      I’ve looked into this because people do keep them as pets… one of the problems is you can’t have just one, ideally they’d be a small herd. And they need somewhere to go swimming and a lot of exercise, and they don’t handle cold well…

      They’re good pets in the same way that a herd of goats are good pets. Some people have the situation where they absolutely could have a a few capybaras but they’d be miserable in a Manhattan apartment.

        I believe they are not on the positivelist where i live. I love them but keeping a pet that you can t take to the vet… No tkx
