I think Larson made this before the documentary about the guy studying wolves changing his diet to mainly mice for… I don’t remember how long.
I mean, this is a classic situation in shows where undercover cops must take drugs to prove themselves so I think it’s more likely that this is what the joke is about.
Again, with what we know today about undercover cops…
