    Just like with some of the 4chan idiots though, there is little functional difference between being a true believer nazi and merely pretending to be one.

          You may be right, there. I do tend to excuse comedians, like Monty Python and their ilk, though. I guess it’s always contextual.

            Yeah, also satire. Look at Colbert’s schtick, that entire thing was pretending to be dumb, but it was peak satire.

              It’s tough. Colbert is actually a great example in this case, because, while I also loved his schtick, a lot of conservatives didn’t realize it was satire. There was actually a study done about it, in fact!

      Yeah I’m not saying it would make him better. Only saying his main intent seems to be to rile people up.

        I agree, but also we can never know what’s in a person’s heart. It seems more useful to consider his actions; if it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck…
