I’m surprised, looked up the address. He lives in a 3 bedroom house built in 1989, pretty modest house. i always expect these people to live lavishly for no reason.

100% just his legal residence in the state for election purposes only. Maybe some photo shoot opportunities so he can look like an “every man”

He’s a senator. He doesn’t have to live in a district. You’re implying his non Washington home is out of state which is doubtful.

I said nothing about a district. As a senator he still has to have a legal residence in the state.

He may very well have an out of state residence, but whatever residence is his primary I doubt it’s very modest. That was more the point i was getting at. Choosing a modest home as your public facing address is just politics

He’s poor for a republican boomer, his net worth is reportedly only around 1-2M…

E: and hes been in congress since 1995.

Money can only buy so much house before a second house is easier and cheaper than getting another. Why buy a lavish, opulent sign of corruption when a small house will do a lot to prove innocence?

Besides, Lindsay Graham is one of the openly secret gay senators who spends his money on good times, not good things.
