The taste, the strength, the feeling, it’s perfect. My favorite before EC private barrels was Russell’s reserve SiB.

If we’re talking price, EW SiB was hands down the best value imo, but I think it’s like a distillery exclusive now? 4 Roses SiB is always a solid grab at the price point. I’d probably have other picks above it, but the availability factor makes it a reliable pick Eagle Rare, another one that punches above its price point. This was easy to find until around 2020. If we’re looking over $50, KC 12 is pretty great. As are some of the Old Forester picks, but I can’t keep track of which number is which lol. Then there are picks I love but aren’t accessible/never on shelves.
