easier to rub on there without dripping for wood slides - wax works as well. any type of lubricant that is appropriate for the slides will work, but wd40 is not a lubricant. if you want them to be smooth, get some superlube and your drawers will be flyin’ <3
i see local bands once or twice a year; however my wife goes more often, about every other month. i dont go to big shows. i always buy at least one thing.
i have a decent job, so i need to share the love even if i dont want anything.
i think you’re looking for flow rate, mr president. if you change water pressures across the country, everybody’s o-rings are gunna have a bad time.
source: my house has extremely high water pressure already.
honestly, after import if you need a connectypiece you can probably just
translate([x,y,z]) { cube(5); }
here is the cheat sheet that i use for reference in openscad - it is quite good :)
openscad is a wonderful tool if you hate using your mouse. if you prefer scripting your way to victory, it is an amazing tool.
mouse is only used to move/zoom/tilt camera, everything else is keyboard
you dadded your dad. i hope he realizes he got dadded, hehehe.
i can remember my dad calling our PC “the nintendo” then i was growing up, and that irked me every time, heheheheh.
as someone who has never eaten ethiopian food, you made me want to eat ethiopian food <3
this sounds great : D
american here. we definitely have 3 distinct categories of food that are “proper” for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. there is some overlap, but its culturally obvious which foods are for which meals (it doesnt seem weird to me, but i can see how that is weird to everyone else).
my wife doesnt like breakfast foods and eats things like instant ramen and a coke for breakfast - this is considered very strange here. i still think its weird, and we have been together for 18 years, heh.
edit: oh, lol… i didnt answer the question. breakfast is my favorite meal. biscuits & gravy and breakfast burritos are my favorites <3
i am unfamiliar with the printer and parts you are talking about, and am not sure which CAD program you use, so this may be irrelevant - i apologize if so, but the question is vague enough to warrant at least a little help if i can give it.
i use openscad for cad modelling. multiple files can be imported there and moved around. little pieces can be added between them if you require more attachment points than what is available (like if its connecting two roundy bits, etc).
what do you foresee as a problem with combining these two things in CAD?
i really want to like total war, but it just isnt for me :(
i do play a lot of tactics and strategy games tho <3
i usually complain to the wife when horrible tactics are used in medieval battles.
like… why is everyone always doing a full frontal assault, have the wrong weapons, not use fire appropriately, never flank, use cavalry inappropriately…
miltary tactics in movies is usually abhorrent.
a low level language that has really nice features when compared to c and c++, but honestly i find it difficult to read. probably my lack of experience with it, tho.
if a bug arises from using proton, it would cause the same issue for users that are forced to use proton.
just click the button that builds for linux. build for as many platforms as you can. if you cant fix all of the bugs due to time, then you’ll become a better programmer for your next game and not make thise same mistakes <3
train on media that is publicly owned. if there isnt enough of this, then join the fight to end the ridiculous timeframe that material remains copyrighted.

fool me, fool me; go on and fool me
i have a 3 monitor setup for work machine and a 49" 32:9 ultrawide for my home machine. i like them both because of the things i do on them.
my home rig is regularly for gaming. a single, large, high ppi, high refresh rate, ultrawide monitor is amazing for a gaming-first setup. there is flexibility for off-work productivity here where i split 1/3x3, 2/3-1/3, or even 2/3-2/3 with 1/3 overlap.
my work rig is regularly for programming, communication (chat, video conference, email, ticket comments), time management, word processing & diffing, testing web clients… i have to do a lot of things. the structured 3-monitored layout is great for me to keep everything in its place and flip between them frequently.
both multi-monitor and single-monitor setups have their benefits. all that matters is that you choose according to your preference and expected use-case.
i, too, have a friend that in all-in for elon and made tons of money with tesla stock; he is an elon and trump supporter, etc.
we talk politics regularly, and almost always disagree in these conversations. it can get a little heated sometimes, but we are pretty good at catching ourselves… after all, politics are all opinion-based, so our politics being on the opposite ends if the spectrum are understandable.
if talking politics is too much for the friendship to handle, then i recommend talking about it less (even though it can be difficult when every other story in the news is about it rn). if he brings up a political point, tell him you would rather not talk politics (i say this to my father whenever he comes over, too; its a lot easier to enjoy someone’s company through an enforced facade)
its not terrible, it just sucks that its not automatic. i am not on windows and dont want to be treated like i am.
