I hadn’t even considered that. I guess I’ve been lucky with all of my past trades? I did some looking at information and studies from several universities.
I’ll probably still trade because most of it can be treated. I know I save and offer good seeds, but I’ll likely check any seeds I get or treat them to be sure.

Regenerative Agriculture / Permaculture
If you plan to lease out to a farmer, find one that won’t fill it with herbicides and pesticides. And maybe look to only lease part of it while you work to recover other parts.
I’m looking to buy land that needs to be recovered and have the budget that will likely lead me to a place like this that doesn’t have direct road access. Good luck!
