What a pleasant thought for the child diddling priests he did nothing about.

That’s understandable. I do recall when setting up my stuff that Proton’s documentation left a lot to be desired. Thankfully I found the Dr Frankenstein guides that walked me through it. I don’t do much script writing of my own though, so that may not be helpful for everyone.
Wait, port forwarding on Proton is locked behind a GUI? That doesn’t seem right - I use proton with port forwarding for my torrent setup on my NAS and it connects to VPN just using environment variables from a docker compose file. No Proton software installed at all.
Also fully possible I’ve misread something; apologies if so.
And that’s how docker was born!
I’d certainly appreciate even minimal protection from the elements while I’m pinching one off.
CGP Gray is the channel. I believe they’re referencing this video on Quartermasters, but CGP also has this one on Captains.
Like when you’re eating something you very much dislike but understand others might love it.
Man-stink is like Brussels sprout?
True. I like a moderately musky guy, so that one didn’t occur to me.
Stinky? Try again with a good bottom who does their prep work first.
Particularly disappointing part of that interview was Rober saying he still plans to buy a new Tesla. Safety issues aside, why would anyone want to do that?
That you, Morgoth? Stop trying to trick me into revealing the location of Gondolin.
Right? Alabama doesn’t even have 10 million people.
Mostly referring to the recent rumblings about their potential IPO. Once shareholders get their hands on something, it’s all downhill.
Matrix supports “bridges” for a number of third party services so you can keep in contact with friends who haven’t made the transition to federated services.
Other than Lemmy, I’ve got a self-hosted and federated Matrix instance. I don’t actually do much with Matrix at the moment, it’s mostly the result of me tinkering with self-hosted services. I did recently bridge it to Discord, and I’ve let my friends know it’s a potential alternative if Discord continues going down the shitter.
I’m torn between wether the right response to that one is wanting Linux to support them, or refuse to play games that insist on requiring malware to play their game.
Trade it for something a little lies swastikar-y.
Recently finished a re-read of Lord of the Rings, and am working my way through The Silmarillion again now. Found them in gorgeous hardback editions that also have Tolkien’s illustrations. Ideally once I’m finished with Silmarillion I’ll start in on Tolkien’s other works that I’ve never read at all - Unfinished Tales, Morgoth’s Ring, etc.
The density of your take rivals that of a Strange Matter star. Impressive.
This is one of the reasons why I set up a Wireguard VPN connection to my home network, and an on-demand VPN connection on my phone that automatically turns on anytime I’m not on the home network. Even away from home I get the benefits of my Pi-hole+Unbound (running as recursive resolver) setup.
Just a single “whispering eye.”
