Oh my gosh you have no idea how much that means to me seriously 😭 Pikmin was such a formative piece of media to me and I’m so happy you’re getting Pikmin vibes from it! Thank you so much!!

Yeah, it seems like there are a lot of people who will only read the headlines, which when combined with what headline they went with is egregious. Honestly, clickbait such as this is a pet peeve I have with media in general.
As an artist who has had her art stolen before for usage in an AI output, being against any and all art theft is the default and perfectly reasonable standpoint for an artist. On some art websites, AI generated images fall under the rule against art theft. This is because AI models scrape artists’ work without their consent, and the output of a prompt is reliant on the amalgamation of the aforementioned scraped artworks. I’ve personally seen some AI images in which the mangled remains of artists’ signatures are still visible.
The best analogy I can offer to explain why this is theft is that typing in a prompt into an AI image generator is like commissioning an artist to draw something for you, except the artist turns out to be someone who traces people’s art and picks stolen artwork to trace from to match the prompt, and then claiming that it was you who created the image.
I’d love to be teleported into the world of Breath of the Wild/Tears of The Kingdom, minus the apocalyptic elements. I’d choose to either live in Tabantha or Akkala. I’ve always preferred semi rural environments, so the desolate, relaxed atmosphere would be appealing to me. I’d love to be a Rito so that I could soar wherever I wanted to go!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you think so! 😃
I love drawing biblically accurate angels and peculiar creatures! I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I was particularly influenced to draw strange creatures after playing Pikmin, and that kinda stuck with me! Typically what I do is to just draw whatever image is in my head and I’m particularly fond of things with lots of eyes or none of them. Some ideas come from dreams wheras others arise spontaneously. Others come from simply messing around while sketching.
I use Paint Tool Sai 1 for all of my drawings. It’s an older program but it’s very lightweight and also has a really good pen stabilization and pressure system! I honestly wouldn’t trade it for anything else.
Sounds fun! Do you ever get nervous before a performance?
Well, I can draw… (progress pictures are HERE!)
I like to think of nostalgic memories.
I was talking with someone from the UK about this article that they showed me. They were outraged by it, and I said I don’t see what the problem is with it. They were weirdly fixated on the “asylum seekers” part, to which I told them the article says it will apply to vulnerable persons regardless of immigration status, and I asked them why they were fixating so much on this applying to one specific demographic.
This caused them to go on a tirade about “migrants are getting more rights than people who were born in this country” and how they aren’t a racist because they married an Italian. They said “it’s all about divide and conquer” and I asked them why they care so much about what ethnicity or nationality a person is, over if they’re vulnerable and receiving healthcare equality or not. This quickly devolved into them going on about how the UK is “being taken over by migrants”. So, I asked them if they knew any of these migrants, if the UK is “being taken over” by them. They said no.
This started from them watching a YouTube video made by some influencer who was getting angry over the same article. I’m more than convinced that social media can have its bad sides.
Raw potato that’s cut into the shape of steak fries/chips for easy eating. Most people dislike the bitter flavour but I love the crunch and taste!
I’m not sure if it counts, but I’ve never fallen for a scam, and I’m good enough and quick enough at spotting them that my friends use me as a scam detector. I recently had someone DM me on Tumblr telling me how much my art inspired them and that they wanted a collab, and I immediately got suspicious because it was worded in an odd way. Went and checked the profile and found out it was part of a credit card scam ring that recently moved to Tumblr from Instagram.
Based on real life experiences with having random guys try to hit on me, I’d probably get a lot of guys DMing me.
Samurai Pizza Cats. My grandma would have tapes of it so whenever I went over to my grandma’s house, chances are this show would be playing at some point haha. The episode I remember the most is the one with the dragon.
School plays! I got into a costume and acted on stage. There were some parts where I had to sing and I looked forward to those plays so much I would be giddy! The one I remember the most was when I had to dress up as a gold star.
Building igloos out of snow. Rather than building snowmen we would build chairs, beds, etc. made out of snow!
Drawing. I remember my mom and dad telling me about how I could just fill up an entire page with different things! My grandma was a painter for most of her life, and whenever we went to her house, she’d go upstairs to retrieve her art supplies and teach me how to paint.
Swimming. I just love water in general and the tradition was that we’d go to a fast food place immediately after. If it was after a session at a public pool, I’d still smell like chlorine even after showering. The combination of the smell of the inside of a McDonald’s and chlorine is such a formative memory to me for that reason haha.
Laser tag. I was really good at it!
School trips! I went to this really cool science museum with my class once, I would love to say the name of it, but then that would reveal where I live. It was one of those museums where you could do practical things and it was really fun. I also loved it whenever we went go-karting even though I’d always end up with bruises on my inner thighs.
Using plastic to contain food. I’m always a little turned off when a takeout place uses plastic containers as opposed to the paper or foil ones. Plus it’s terrible to animals, especially marine life such as dolphins.
This varies by microwave as not all microwaves perform the same way, but in my case, for more even heating there are benefits to placing the food just off-center. When the food is placed in the center it doesn’t heat as evenly, which is to do with standing waves forming inside the microwave, which leads to hot and cold spots.
I love orzo how dare you
Honestly I’m a huge pasta lover so it’s difficult for me to say. Probably farfalle whenever I eat it raw. The middle parts are always a pain to eat because of the shape.
Megaman X will always be my fave, still has one of the most difficult end bosses though! I wonder if he beat the game. And I absolutely love that Fireside Angel omg!! I didn’t know about it until now but I totally get you and it really is a vibe! 😃 I’m glad you enjoy my art and thank you for showing me that picture too!
