Me during code reviews of other people
This. At work i use visual studio ( .net wpf/blazor/maui ) with vscode on the side. At home i use vscodium for my .net/c/c++ work and sometimes notepad++ for other c stuff. Depends if i open 1 file quickly or working on a project
Oh shit, i forgot the physx stuff being dropped and killing performance in older games haha
Haha, ye
Can confirm rx 6750 xt to also have all cores as specs, did not burst into flames, was a decent price ( 370 ), and does not use 50A of 12v power.
Im going to get downvoted to hell for this.
Nazi’s are human. They are pieces of shit humans that need to not exist and i could punch without feeling bad, but they are humans none the less.
I think i see the change. They are mentioning the ssn is 9 numbers long, which is 1 longer than the 3-3-2 format wikipedia mentions. That does mean its around 999mil numbers, which ye allows for a few generations ( like, 1 or 2 lol )
Apparently. Good that its fixed!
Oh ye, our system wouldnt fit india as its limited to 500 births a day ( sequence is 3, digits and depending if its even or uneven describes your gender ). Your system seems fine to me and beats the us system hands down haha
Correct driver? It didnt before? My ps5 controller works just fine?
As read on wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Security_number ) the format only allows +/- 100k numbers per area code ( which is also limited to 999 codes? ), so over time you are forced to reuse some codes. In total the format allows 99m unique codes, and the us currently has 334mil people sooooo :')
Ssn being unique isnt a dumb idea, its a very smart idea, but due to the us ssn format its impossible to do. Hence to implement the idea you need to change the ssn format so it is unique before then.
Also, elons remark is stupid as is. Im sure the row has a unique id, even if its just a rowid column.
Just read the format of the us ssn in that wikipedia. That wasnt a smart format to use lol. Only supports 99*999 ( +/- 100k ) people per area code. No wonder numbers are reused.
In some countries its birthday+sequence number encoded with gender+checksum and that has been working since the 80’s.
Before that was a different number, but it wasnt future proof like the us ssn so we migrated away in the 80’s :')
3,5,7, 12 and 13 for me haha
20 years ago there was no talks of anything digital, let alone cloud. Hell, most of the population didnt have a computer that was connected to the internet yet. At BEST some countries had e-id’s ( like myself ) and some company cards had a chip ( like debit cards ). You might want to recheck history.
There actually are systems in place for this. However, if the dutch chose to not host their own cloud service, made by a tech giant, thats on bloody them haha. This is perfectly possible to do if youre a government.
And dont get me wrong btw, i believe every government should host their own cloud service because being reliant on an international company to do your hosting ( besides the software ) is baaaaaad
Eu parliament has nothing to do with this.
This is generally the result of cloud computing taking over and us companies having the capital to invest to basically take it over.
Also, trump does not have control over that data, at least if its in azure.
Azure for governmental bodies is a private cloud service separate from the general public. For eu countries these are either hosted in the country its government data centre or in germany, which is in the eu.
This means that if trump would demand data, he cant access it without the approval of the server owner or he’d be breaking international laws.

You and i read different things. I hated how he worded them, but his arguments at greppable and understandable are valid arguments that go beyond rust and if he can read it or not or refuses to.
Mixing languages in a part of a project brings complexity and is often a huge ass nono because it makes things unreadable and hard to manage on a large scale.
He also argues that a c interface exists to connect 2 parts of a system. The person that changes the interface should not have to alter the users of that interface, if they do then you get intertwined dependencies, which is a huge ass red flag for developers that something has gone terrible wrong and the project is not going to scale or will be easy to change.
So if he changes the interface, the rust team will need to fix it, specially since they are the minority.
That also doesnt mean he can change it in whatever way without worry, it is an interface change, that needs discussions and approvals ahead of time ofc.
You seem to be in the loops of the linux kernel?
If so, ive known hector from way before when we was part of f0f, or TT as they were known before, doing wii homebrew work.
What you describe is what my experience was with him 14 years ago too. The guy is smart, he has a very good skill set and knowledge, but his communication skills were lacking back then too.
Granted, both he and myself were still teenagers and students and we were wild, but i had always assumed he grew up a bit since then…
What you said is spot on, and i hope he does read both of these. And if he does :
Marcan, you might not know who i am anymore, but ffs man. Dont screw up your love for all of these by keep kicking the hornets nests. You did it with devkitpro, emudevs when the nier news dropped and with rossman too. Stop it, its for your own good.
what ? Thunderbird exists…
