They got the physical victory, but you got the emotional victory, and anyone who gets violent over a ‘Your Mom’ joke like that will NEVER live it down. They probably still think about you sometimes.
Just kinda that guy, ya know?

Baby Shark, followed by Wonderwall.
Their national currency is USD.
It bears repeating that major cities were full of constant toxic smog before clean air regulations. I remember reading that it was so bad around Detroit that people would sometimes pass out from Carbon Monoxide poisoning during traffic jams. Rivers used to CATCH FIRE before the EPA too.
Republicans only want the EPA gone because then they can sell protected land on the cheap to their masters, and get away with horrendous behavior during new industrial setup. What they fail to realize is that many of the protections enforced by the EPA have been hardbaked in to the industries and equipment, and killing the EPA will not get rid of that overnight.
It’s because the idiots ran up on stage, built a wall out of their own shit, and started screaming into the mic. And they get away with it because they own the venue and locked the doors, all the while thinking people love them for it.
Their actions don’t make rational sense to you because you’re not a sociopathic CEO beholden to the whims of shareholders. Otherwise, you nailed it.
It’s exactly this mentality. They DO NOT CARE what happens at the end, because they are assuming they’ll be either dead or in AI bunkers by then. Everyone else will be left to burn.
What’s to tell me? That bad games that fall out of prominence tend to be remembered for reasons outside their gameplay or world building? That everyone already knows OW2 will be remembered more for its R34 than its actual gameplay? Or that Blizzard dropped the ball so hilariously terribly that people would literally rather play any other game despite the millions of dollars spent on lore, animations, publicity, and skins design?
Ultimately, I don’t think Overwatch 2 will disappear from the public eye even if MR comes to utterly dominate the hero shooter market, for one singular, succinct reason: a LOT of people are INCREDIBLY interested in Overwatch Porn, and that’s not going to stop anytime soon.
The colloquial “third place” is, as I understand it, a (usually) public place OUTSIDE of Home or Work where people can meet, hangout, play, or just exist without the expectation of spending money or being productive in some way. Examples would be Parks, Libraries, old-timey Public Houses and Cafes, Playgrounds, Forests and Wilderness within walking distance, and more.
Car culture killed a lot of that by removing the ability to reasonably walk places outside major metro areas, as businesses relocated to cities, and because they straight up increased the fatality rate for walking substantially. Internet Culture also killed it since you can just talk to your buddies through the Demon Rectangle instead of meeting IRL.
Just switched to Fedora, bit having used Ubuntu before… yeah, never again lmao.
