Your disgust has a scale that ranks higher than genocide?
That’s a pretty Liberal take from someone using a “Lemmygrad” account.
I can respond with 👍 and if people don’t like it then next time I probably wouldn’t respond to there texts with anything at all. The thumbs up IS me putting in the extra effort to acknowledge & respond to received messages. Also, it was my avatar on my previous college online profile.
Just try to remember that there is almost always more than one way to interpret a body of text even if it’s a single character.
Are you suggesting that we won’t eat our Arborvitaes?
oh, man I was there for the first time ever just two weeks ago. I wanted to stop at a boutique liquor store I had found listed online. I was shocked to see the number of abandoned/dilapidated structures. The liquor store actually happened to be located in a newish out-building on the same lot of one of these abandoned mansions. The store was very nice as was the staff, but I was left with a lot of questions that were all pretty-much answered when I read online that Birmingham is also known as The Pittsburgh of the South.
Here’s to hoping we still have the physical ability to engage with those hobbies and interests.
I feel like it somehow relates to Cunningham’s Law but i can’t figure out how to articulate it.

When I was a kid cereal didn’t have no zippas! We rolled up the one end of the bag and watched it partially unfurl when we let go, and we were satisfied with that.
To quote Jon Stewart from two decades ago -“Man, that dorm is toast!”
" Isn’t there any basic train of thought anymore…"
No, ads, television, and social media destroyed our attention spans.
Now the only tv ads that play are Lawyer ads, Insurance ads, and Pharmaceutical Ads. By comparison, Alcohol ads coming back doesn’t seem half-bad.

“I love football on tv, shots of Gina Lee, hangin’ with my friends, and twins.” …something-something “and I love you too. It’s the love song!”
-Alcohol ads used to have the best jingles.
That’s not that much, also are you sure it’s a “fizzy drink” addiction or instead a sugar/sweets addiction? You could try swapping out the pepsi max with an unsweetened fizzy water like Perrier or La Croix and then eventually transitioning to regular water from there, but i’m betting it’s the sweetness you are craving.
Oh, cool. thanks!
I usually only use it via command line, but that’s disappointing to hear that it’s no longer supported. I have used redshift-gtk in the past but I could never keep it functioning for very long, and I prefer KDE. It seems every alternative wants to automate it to synchronize with sunrise and sunset, but 90% of the time I use it is simply because my eyes are already aching. I wish there was another with an easy access on/off switch. The built-in functions require going into settings each time I want to change it and that’s just no good.
I think It’s more of a French puppet state than U.S. as a result of their massive centuries-old debt they accrued when they managed to make themselves independent and end their own slavery. I’m pretty sure it’s hard to maintain a functional government when it’s permanently in debt to another country.
