Modern ones have anti-burn in stuff so when it detects fixed elements it turns these down in intensity. For what it’s worth mine is going on 4 years regularly playing a game with fixed UI and no issues so far touches wood.
I too use the Japanese TV tower emoji when I can’t find the Eiffel tower and go something like “eh, close enough”.
The one on the left is a true SIC (Standard Issue Cat) and while I could definitely still tell them apart with my cat even if not next to each other, SICs are pretty similar for sure, for example they all have the M on the forehead. The other one has some white bits so totally different as far as I’m concerned. Cutie pies btw!
Because what’s better than knowing your balls could get blown at any moments while binging Netflix.
I think that one’s coming as retaliation to the flat 20% so in like a month or three.
J’ai ri.
I mean 5 people died, and if you go read their first link you’ll see injuries are common and on the rise (it’s the whole premise of the article). Theyare dangerous, the fact they’re really good at it and aren’t constantly dying doesn’t change that? It’s like saying corrida isn’t dangerous because they don’t get gored by the bull every time.
Oh wow that’s indeed way less than I would’ve thought. Still dangerous IMO but clearly the people doing it are very good at it.
Yep these are insane, and really dangerous.
I’ve definitely missed the sequel, so even more reasons to watch both again!
I have a good memory from that show, maybe I should watch it again, it has the master.
Based instance name.
Oh yes for sure, this particular example is just pretty extreme, I think that might be part of why it wasn’t as well known in Europe? I only saw it years later myself. Maybe it’s just that Europeans weren’t as keen to laugh at their own stereotypes. Also I had just watched it the night before so the example was fresh in my mind. To be clear I laughed my as off watching it, it’s all good (though I do wonder if some of the humour would still fly today).
Big fan of Ed’s style!
Yeah I mean I’m not advocating for it, don’t get me wrong! Just pointing out why it might not be all roses and rainbows highjacking human driven trucks.
The moustache gives it away.
Yeah but then you have to deal with a human driver, possibly you have to hurt them, at minimum you’ll have to scare the shit out of them. With a self driving truck you’re only hurting the corporation.
Basically to sum it up:
Render the actual movie from original files, hard because of the inherent technical challenges
Recreate the movie, easy from a technical perspective for your machine to render, hard (potentially very hard) from an artistic and design perspective.
