Don’t apologize to people over little things, like being late or using too much of their time. Instead, thank them. Ex: instead of, “I’m sorry I’m such a mess”, say, “Thank you for being patient with me and supporting me.” It will make both you and the other person feel better than the alternative.

I used to put things in my vest pocket when I worked at Walmart and “accidentally” take them home. I was a twenty-something but I fucking hated that place and felt like I deserved more.

Many of us want to come stay with you. Better shore up your immigration policies!

I was thinking the haning chads and the spinelessness of dems did us in. If Al Gore would have won! But I guess the history goes deeper.

Thank the stars for that! We don’t deserve it.

So are there any good ones? Learning Spanish and giving back to the community? Just curious. That’s what I plan to do when I move out of here, learn the language and do volunteer work, etc.
