I’ve got a bug out zone extremely close to a bordering country that’s self sufficient. Staying put unless things get wildly out of hand. We could probably house another 2 families if needed.
Nah, my company buys them because they work well for the price and support multiple monitors. I haven’t seen a single person I work with use the Trackpoint. Just about everyone uses the trackpad and some have traveling mice.
The reason there aren’t anymore crank windows isn’t because it’s a mandatory upsell, it’s because motorized is probably as cheap or even cheaper thanks to modern manufacturing and the preference of 99% of other people.
The Thinkpads all have trackpads too. I don’t use the trackpoint myself but the trackpad tracks well.
We need more people well off to do things like this. Well done!
