And blackjack and hookers … oh wait, that’s the south_west_.
Because it makes most disoriented and, at worst, sick. I’ve been in one, I don’t have problems with boat sickness or motion sickness and this made me completely lose any sense of my place in reality while spinning. Just awful.
I’d say I’d agree with most of that in the sense that the manager you’re talking about is a process manager.
China. Military has been gearing up to defend Taiwan for years and the intervention has been moved up to only 2 years from now.
Nope. But I have my info stripped from the internet weekly and are on the do not call registries. I get spam from time to time of course but haven’t had any lately at all. I get FAR less than my wife. I also don’t sign up for crap to get discounts like she does.
It’s habit at that point. Good.
What makes you happy to do? It may be neither.
I’m an Ops and HR manager (weird combo I know) because I love the #s game and clean processes and also get a kick out of helping people develop and succeed.
I love computers but didn’t want to kill my joy in tinkering so I didn’t pursue them in higher education. I’m self taught in that regard.
Management is definitely more mobile and versatile.
Management is managing people and/or processes. If you don’t think it’s a productive skill, it’s because you’ve never done it or understand the value it brings.
Good luck completing a product or being profitable without any.
Good list. It also keeps the number of WiFi devices on your network down. Can be an issue with some WiFi routers that have a low cap.
Not all workplaces are like this but a large majority are. People suck at great management.
On a specific to your career note, my wife has been an RN for over a decade at this point, 10 years being at a local hospital. Management was trash there. Her co-workers were great but management made the job suck. They blamed the C-suite (yay, capitalism). What really got her was that she never felt backed by management and when a patient would outright lie, they’d back the patient every time. She left the hospital system to work for a private endo/gastro clinic and she said she should have made that decision years prior. She gets paid less than she would at a hospital but she’s happy and loves her coworkers and the docs that own the practice. They’ve won multiple awards and are top in the region. They’ve throw a hell of a Christmas party to thank the staff (free booze FTW).
Get the hell out of the hospital and find a great private practice. They’re out there and always looking for great nurses.
Good luck friend.
Oh this is incredible!!! No ads, clean, straight to the recipe. Thanks for sharing.
Use LocalSend. It’s open source and works great on all devices and platforms.
This is not accurate. It uses BT to establish the connection and then it transfers the data over peer to peer WiFi, which is why it’s so much faster than Bluetooth File Transfer.
Keeps you from going flat too. Was in a large choir. Works really well.
Raising the eyebrows keeps one from going flat.
Literally made me snort. HAHAHA.
Circumvent the whole issue with speaking to the assistant. Siri may be a moron but it works quite well in this application on AirPods. The AirPods Pro 2 are some of the best you can buy. They’re excellent.
I have to shovel snow plenty in the winter here an I just tell it to play, pause, volume up, etc. Doesn’t miss a beat and I’m not taking my mittens off.
Same. I ended up having more issues because of the protectors than I do without.
