Ah, yes. That’s the one.
Thanks, I was thinking of the fitness app
I don’t remember how I got here
Preach brother. The reason I love this space is because it is so small. So much better visibility, so much less one-liners and rwddit garbage to sift through to find a real person. (fe I also choose this guys dead wife! Cue laugh track)
I’ve seen people in multiple conversations under the same post. It feels more alive and personal than seeing Click to show 3456 more comments
Wouldn’t an SSD run into problems down the line with too many Writes?
Remember to keep them clean and dry. Wash after use immediately every time or you’ll et mold.
Hey, what are the chances that’s some actual Pig crotch? Isn’t ham made from cured or dried pork?
Imagine the size of its knowledge base, considering most of its learnings were passed down orally as was the custom of the time in the subcontinent?
VPNs are pretty much dead simple to set up, and nowadays doesn’t really have all the usability problems it used to have; I don’t really see the issue here?
Good question. Some users say they found the app reinstalling on their devices after they uninstalled. Still good to stay informed.
Nice. I like it when people live and let live.
Excpet for bed bugs. Bed bugs can fuck right off.
I took mailbox because i thought @mailbox.org looked professional, atleast better than something like @tutamail.com They market themselves as privacy concious but they aren’t, really. It has support for PGP and all, but the whole thing is just a wrapper around the Open-Xchange standard, and a barebones wrapper at that. Development happens at a snails pace, meaning it has fallen behind most of its competitors. The 2FA implementation is partial at best, the “Open Sessions” page which is supposed to list and allow you to log out of connected sessions only lists browser based sessions - not connections via IMAP with other software meaning using open source programs like thunderbird won’t show up on the open sessions page.
You can check the mailbox forums for a long list of threads where users air their grievances at an at-best understaffed, at-worst indifferent, staff.
Fastmail is a good alternative. I hear mixed opinions about mailbox.org Posteo comes teongly recommendes for their focus on privacy Tutamail is also very good on that front, but you can only use it with their apps and programs. There are many many options, but you can find more on the privacy focused communities on lemmy.
He is a tyrant and his name is unspeakable in wider folklore world. The last time he came to power he slaughtered countless innocents based on his whims and pleasures. Many of the freedom fighters that liberated his palatial fortress came out changed men - they forbade the younger fighters from going into the palace, burned both palace and the grounds down, turned the entire compound to rubble, and never spoke of what they saw even in the ensuing trials of his servants.
Every one of the freedom fighters who had the misfortune of going in and beholding his works have subsequently committed suicide in the ensuing years - every one of them down the last man.
May the winds of time erase his accursed name from living memory!
Did you turn off two way sync? I thought deleting data from your phone would make the system to interpret the change as an update and delete the data from your Nas too.
I have heard entirely opposite experiences from other people - one had to take his car in 40 (!!) times in the span of four or five years.
I think there’s a serious QA issue if some are getting good cars and others are getting garbage that keeps falling apart.
It’s so stupid and shortsighted. Living environments are not just the inside of our homes - it includes the outside, the neighbourhood, and the options you have to travel in and out of there. All of this together decide your quality of life inside your home.
