My point is that what you posted as evidence bigotry is not really very strong. Certainly, if that joke was posted by a bigot it would be punching down. But otherwise it is just a normal situational joke.

It feels like a jeopardy category, “Things that are fine to say unless a bigot says it.”

I guess I don’t get the context. What i see is OP pouring a screenshot of a tweet exchange to ImGoingToHellForThis. The idea of the community being that the material is inappropriate but still has an element of humor.

So, op posted a joke that someone else made they knew was in bad taste, but got a chuckle from? That sets a pretty low bar for calling someone a bigot.

The funniest part about this is that almost every linux installation is totally different from every other one, whereas every windows installation is almost identical.

But really, I certainly wouldn’t enter any random commands I was given from the internet on a linux machine unless I knew damn well what they did.

The only times I hear of tankies is from how annoying they are in online forums, their only power being in their subreddits and lemmy instances. The only references to Marxists are from idiots repeating MAGA talking points.

This happened to me too. Everyone says they aren’t actually slippery. For me it was a cartoonish feet flying out from under me slip.
