  • I don’t understand why this is so hard for you to understand. There were only two options in the last election. Yeah, the Dems were shit, but they were way less fascist.

If you didn’t vote for the Democrats you were voting for fascism. You enabled the fascist party of the United States of America to take charge. You helped fascists take charge of the most powerful country in the world.

As I’ve stated before, there was no vote that you could make that wasn’t going to result in genocide. This whole no voting /voting for a third party thing is just a virtue signal. It’s to make you feel good and that’s it.

What really makes me sick is it seems like you have no remorse. We didn’t know how bad Trump would be. But now that we do know you don’t seem to care.

At least I feel bad about the dead Palestinians. You seem to have no remorse whatsoever over the harm and death that will be caused by the people that you have helped put into power.

I hope you realize it eventually and learn from it.

  • Yes, 100 percent agree. Dems are useless. They could have really made a good showing when Trump started to do the fascist shit. But they decided to roll over and be smug about it.

What do you think you are accomplishing by being such an insufferable ass?

Did you forget you were calling me progenocide a couple replies ago? I’m sorry I was just following the vibe. I guess you can dish it but you can’t take it.

  • Assuming what is in heart incorrectly doesn’t counter my facts.

I didn’t vote for the Dems because of loan forgiveness, I voted for them because they were the least fascist option.

It’s ok though, I understand you are struggling with how your vote supported rapidity brining fascists to power. The large amount of death caused by the loss of USAID. Sending of innocent people to El Salvador concentration camp. Autistic people being marked as non-human. And look at that, it isn’t even half way though the first year of this term.

Literally, your only hope right now for a good outcome is if soo many people die that we 180 out of this with a revolution that somehow doesn’t result in another authoritarian being in charge soon. Seriously, shit is soo fucked right now, I have become an accelerationist.

  • No matter what action you took in this last election. You were voting for genocide.

    • Republican - genocide
    • Democrat - genocide with less fascism.
    • No vote - The two major parties are pro-genocide so you are genocide by default.
    • Third party - none of the third party candidates had a chance so genocide by default.

So accusing anyone of voting for genocide is kind of silly because everyone did. No one really had a choice.

  • I don’t disagree with that. Why leave that to the market which doesn’t optimize for anything other than more money and whos actions are opaque? Happy, healthy, and productive societies cost money, money that can be spent elsewhere. Slavery is efficient and profitable.

If some organization is going to have the power to make or break me, I want them to be transparent and democratic. Not a rich person who has never worked in their life trying to make more money using whatever means they can get away with.

  • What? Yes, the environment can tell because there would be less pollution. The motivations are different. Do you think worker controlled industries would use the same tactics to over produce and polute the areas the workers live in? No one would benefit from that.

I’m not saying we would reach zero pollution but there would be a lot less pollution.

I have no problem with running water and electricity, most reasonable socialist would agree.

  • American healthcare is capitalist. It’s insurance companies and for profit hospitals. That’s why it’s bad. Healthcare is an inelastic demand.

China isn’t a Democratic State. I’m not arguing that just having one guy handling all the economic planning is a good idea.

  • There’s a difference between industrialization for people and trade versus industrialization for money and power. One helps everyone, The other only helps capitalists.

I wouldn’t necessarily look at China and USSR and say they are a good alternative. I prefer a more democratic socialism. My problem with capitalism is specifically the lack of choice of the people. We spend 8 out of 12 hours on average working for a company that we don’t get a vote in.

  • Yeah, so we take AI out of companies who only want to make money even if it hurts people and give it to a democratic elected government which will use it to help people or they will be voted out

We can choose a less shitty power structure if we want.

  • Yes. I wonder what the outcomes of centering the soldiers gult is?

Do we want the solution to be that soldiers have to consider every order given within the historical context of the time to decide the morally correct actions and do them even if it means court martial or death?

Don’t get me wrong. I’m okay for soldiers to do this in extreme examples. But I don’t think this should be the norm.

I think we should shift the focus to the leaders instead of the soldiers. They are better positioned to make these decisions and have the time to do so.

    And it’s their job.
