I feel like the AI dubs are just a way to annoy people with ad blockers. Both on desktop, and my modded mobile client, any time i open a new video, the player forces my quality down to 144p, and turns on the first available dub

I feel like it’s just a matter of time, until they pull the rug from under lifetime subs.
But in any case, this is probably it for me. I’m not completely happy with jellyfin performance on my server, but the price hike puts me outside of what i’m willing to spend for this service. I already host it myself, and i can tunnel it myself too, if i ever decide to run it outside of my home network
My only hope that they’ll get it right this time around. NMM was a disaster all around. With the Vortex announcement, hopes went up, given that they literally hired the person who created Mod Organizer, but then it was essentially NMM round 2, with an electron shell. This looks somewhat promising, at least
He did make those claims himself, in the past. Which of course means fucking nothing, because actions speak louder
Stuff like this should be studied in some kind of a medical facility. How do people flip their entire worldview overnight, and become colossal bigots, with the most aggressive and violent thought processes?
The way that jamón is cut makes me wanna cry a little
That makes sense. Thanks for the answer!
Potentially stupid question: Granted that we have such good vision for planets an incomprehensible distance away from us, why wouldn’t we be able to detect, with certainty, if this planet is actually present in our system? I’m guessing it would take longer to orbit around the sun, than Pluto’s 247 years, but it’d still be detectable because of the distance away from us
What issue, Tim? Being inclusive, and supportive of different people, has apparently turned into an issue.
All the two-faced snakes are showing their true nature, now that there’s nothing reason to hide
For 709 Euro, or 829 if you want somewhat decent storage, I expect A LOT more phone
Are you trying to say that error 43 isn’t the only thing you’d ever need to know about it?
The Microsoft support forums are on a whole level of their own, when it comes to being useless.
sfc /scannow
and the troubleshooting button in the settings do fuck all, and compared to the usual systemd journal, the event log rarely gives you any useful information whatsoever
I couldn’t even launch the game during the first beta, but managed to run it with the current benchmark. Managed to hit 45fps with FSR on, and 12fps with it off, but either way, the visual artifacts are so severe, that this is in no way playable on my system, sadly. This is all with Proton-GE 9.23 and a 1080ti
If you know how to use VB, using Virtmanager wouldn’t be too different. You’ll have to find how these are packaged for your distribution, but the instructions for everything else on the wiki will be helpful regardless of the distro
You can keep your existing partition, and just mount the disk in a libvirt/qemu on kvm setup. Here is a good place to start
about:blank when you open a new tab
Especially on Linux, libvirt/qemu on kvm is a no-brainer. It works, it’s fast, the setup is practically effortless
I’m not shocked, in the slightest, to be completely honest.
All the companies that tried to push this kind of technology, as an Ironman JARVIS alternative, likely knew they don’t have the research to make it anything, other than an extremely barebones speech recognition system, with an alarm/weather app attached to it, but still pushed it to the market, because that’s what makes the money.
Beyond that, once the dust settled, there was no incentive to innovate on it. The competitors have either given up, or put their product in maintenance mode, where it continues to rot, and lose features over time.
The only reason why it seems like there’s innovation again now, is because they took that voice recognition tech, and slapped AI slop, fed by your own data, on top of it
I’ve unsubbed from all but the main channel a while before that, but this was the last drop in the ocean too. Even if half of the accusations were false, they way how their response was completely soulless, and full of dumb jokes, was unheard of
I wouldn’t necessarily call these “problems”. I just don’t like the how the underlying functionality is designed.
For some basic modding, and installing Nexus collections, it’s probably just fine, but for anything more advanced, It’s too rigid. It didn’t allow me the flexibility to do the things I wanted, and lacked plugin support for things I was already extensively using. My preference still lies with MO2, but of course, everyone is welcome to use the tools that work for them
