I’d be lying if I claimed to have never “tried” this technique, although my experience was not quite so…smooth?

I realized a while back I wasn’t reading anymore. But as a kid, I was the one who’d use a flashlight to read under a blanket to avoid getting caught staying up. I’d even read a book walking between classes in highschool, navigating with my peripheral vision (I realized I never needed a whole five minutes for class change, so what better way to use up the time?).

Dune: The Butlerian Jihad (Bryan Herbert and Kevin J Anderson)

I’ve long been a fan of the original Dune series, but only found out about the prequel books about half a year ago. So with the new movies, the new series that centers around the origins of the Sisterhood, and Denis Villeneuve doing a treatment of the events following Paul’s ascension to the throne, I figured there’s no better time to dive into the prehistory of the setting!

You may want to do a little research and see if your community has a good clinic to visit. Please be cautious, though! There are unfortunately a large number of places that advertise free testing, but if you make an appointment they will do everything in their power to make sure you carry it to term, including downright abusive manipulation.

That said, there’s still a lot of clinics out there that actually put your own well-being first, not just medically, but also in terms of respecting what you want as an outcome of this.
