Yeah, I know someone who won’t watch that episode again because of how unsettling it is. Luckily for them, it’s slowly becoming reality.
They don’t have to, but still can purchase the lower priced game, to get the same sale as you or me. Hence, frugality.
I bet a small portion of the country will remain Ukrainian, but only because no one else is going to willingly add Chernobyl to their country.
I suppose time will tell. If it does happen, I’ll be interested in seeing how it’s presented in the media.
Can you elaborate? Most people will not end up as 1% rich, as implied by the name. The average working person is in risk of destitution. We are all much much closer to homelessness than we are to immense wealth.
Frugality does not imply a lack of wealth.
Not 1% rich, as the article says.
Years of being unable to afford preventative care, and insurance coverage denial for helpful procedures, mean the average person will die sooner. The lifespan of Americans is much lower, despite higher costs of healthcare, when compared against peer countries.
I bet there’s more plastic in poorer people as well.
Will there be insurgencies in the former Ukraine territory? Or has their will be crushed completely? And what of the heads of state? Will the Ukrainian government trip over one another in efforts to cast blame and avoid fallout?
I’m afraid the issues in Ukraine will continue for some time. The lives they enjoyed pre-invasion are not coming back, even if they were physically unharmed.
Mussolini didn’t string himself up from the service station, the enraged masses did.
They don’t want to payout for patients, so they deny paying for treatments, and they keep taking people’s monthly payments. Kaiser has the lowest percentage of denials, based on an infographic I saw a few months ago. Insurance is a scam, making profits off of people’s poor health, letting them die when costs exceed potential returns. It’s what makes Luigi a hero, doing what none of us could to make life better for the rest of us.
Yeah, and then we can discuss how fucked the whole situation is.
The republican party has some major interest in spreading measles. They may be getting financial kickback from healthcare organizations to ensure more people end up in hospitals, driving up medical debt. Or they’re devils in human form. It’s hard to tell.
That’s why I enjoy the use of the reply button, leads to further discussions.
I’m aware how posting works, thanks.
That’s the fun thing about the internet, you’re free to disregard and ignore comments that don’t appeal to you. Life is too short to take everything so seriously all the time. Which leads to the beauty of the reply button, it can lead to clarification, if you so desire.
Of course it applies to me, I’m the one making the joke. Out of everyone here, no one is more aware of the joke than me.
I agree, it’s equivalent to someone saying a joke and then following up with “I’m just joking!” We know you are. Anyone with a sense of nuance picked up on that, by the words you chose to use.
Just like with the spoken word, sometimes jokes are in poor taste or fall flat, but the /s makes every joke fall flat.
Lots of countries are bolstering forces by hundreds of thousands, even if their current military is in the tens of thousands. It’s eerie how similar it seems when the world is preparing to avoid war, and when the world is preparing for war.
I can’t wait for Skyblivion. I haven’t been this excited to pay full price for a game since Fable 2.
