Yep, there’s probably already a bunch of children of illegal immigrants that are working to support their parents because their parents can’t go out to work any more. Or even worse, their parents have been deported already and they’re sending money abroad to support them.
The US hasn’t properly declared war since 1942, despite being at war pretty much constantly since. If Trump decides to open the gates at Thule airbase and little green men take over Greenland, who’s going to do anything about it (domestically or abroad)?
Maybe that’s how it is now in most cases, but in the past children were made to support the family financially. And it probably already works like that for the poorest in the US. The Republicans want to go back to that past. In Arkansas they legalised children working in abbatoirs, I can guarantee that none of those children are doing it for ‘a little bit of pocket money’.
Didn’t the same thing happen to the discovery of DNA?
Nah, it’s just lint and other crap getting into the port. You can clean the USB-C ones easier than the micro-USB ones, but eventually they all go.
Yeah, strategically having a whole new sea route to China is great. And they think that the downsides of climate change are going to be manageable (in that, they’ll be fine. The rest of us won’t be tho).
Yeah, the USB port on all my phones was the first thing to go, and then you’re just stuck doing the stupid little dance of getting the cable to go in at the exact right angle to get it to charge. With wireless (especially with MagSafe), you just put it on the charger and you never need to worry about cables. I’ve got a plug on my USB port to keep dirt out now.
Yep, one street is easy to barricade.
Yeah, it’s definitely some kind of fraud, although they might have found a loophole that wasn’t in the spirit of the law but still legal.
So maybe they found a way to identify customers that didn’t, and submitted the paperwork in order to get the rebate for themselves?
Eh, as long as he stays in Trump’s favour, Tesla will get a bunch of government contracts to keep them afloat. There was already the state department contract, they can keep slinging more contracts his way of they like.
Credit for that goes to Kshama Sawant, she had to fight the Democrats on the city council and shame them to get there.
It was AIPAC money as well. That’s also why Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman and Katie Porter aren’t in Congress any more.
Or the boss calling a cost of living adjustment a ‘raise’. No, motherfucker, I’m just back to where I started.
And I’ve never heard of a contract that explicitly ties non-union workers’ pay to the union contact, but I’d be cheering the union guys on if they ever asked for a raise if that was the case.
I’m sure he knows Tesla gets the most engagement. And I also believe Tesla is the only company that doesn’t use lidar and Musk has been very vocal about lidar being unnecessary for self driving.
I’m sure it’s been said many times over the course of US history.
Yeah, the code history is the easiest thing to migrate. The other stuff like issues relies on having a good exporting/importing tool on both sides.
