it’s an absolute pain in the ass with mullvad. only a few servers like ireland, greece and nigeria work.
tested innertune just now, and it worked. i noticed there are two of them in f-droid, try the other one? or maybe you were being blocked because of vpn? with mullvad only a few countries work with youtube. try rimusic, it uses youtube music too.
internet explorer 8 in wine
just tried it, but it doesn’t detect my mouse. list of devices is empty on both flatpak and system package.
wired g502 (not the newest one) and piper working fine. the “second mode” feature still has no way to configure.

linux mint and 3060ti rolling smoothly
not working quite that well on my end. no matter how popular torrent, mine won’t seed at all. and i can’t download some rare ones where there’s like less than 50 seeds.
my problem was i couldn’t find where it is and search engines couldn’t provide an answer, but just now i learned you can find out where something is installed with
whereis appname
use ddg light, it has no AI
in mint cinnamon it still has no power, wine is not in the context menu or program list!
i used utorrent until a few years ago when i started caring enough to switch. old habit, like over 15 years ago when my mom taught me how to pirate, utorrent was good back then. don’t know why i kept using it for that long, i even had to block ads in it by editing the hosts file…
fuck proton. finally started moving to it from gmail like a month ago. then the ceo thing happened, now this. good thing i only changed email to a few places so i can immediately steer away…
if updates take long then change source to a local mirror.it tests their speed for you. it’s a bit annoying that it won’t do it automatically.
fighting is a good way to describe it. i see why people like it, i just don’t know how they can stand it. i would love it if it was as stable as the others. btw kubuntu lts uses a very old plasma version, it’s probably going to be better if they ever finish updating it to 6.
cinnamon is like the perfect middle ground. it’s not as painful to use as gnome, not as buggy as kde, but it still has a ton of customization.
i once tried to play alias with a few people, and even if i recognized what they were describing immediately, it took me so long to get the word loaded up that they were already in the next card… i couldn’t get a word out for an hour straight.
i can’t leave foobar2000 until i find something that has dolby headphone 🥲 and it’s sometimes wonky in wine
