I used the modded apk and what I miss the most is the ‘Discover Weekly’ feature that would create a new playlist for you every Monday based on what you’ve been listening to. That was a great way to find new artists, I used to listen through it multiple times each week and some songs that I didn’t initially vibe with had the chance to grow on me.
It’s a buggy pay2win shitshow but I must say the actual gameplay is pretty fun. Although I play it regularly myself I can’t recommend it in good conscience.
Same in Gaijins other game Enlisted. You see a lot of Nazi references in peoples nicknames like 88, SS and variations of famous leaders names and it’s not uncommon at all to see n-bombs etc in chat.
I use Fossify Music Player
Nigel Planer reads the Rincewind and Mort books and Celia Imrie reads Granny Weatherwax. They do a pretty good job too.
Why isn’t there a racing league with speed limits?
Pray.
How did you like PZ? I hear it’s pretty great.
You can’t teach them to sit.
I block all anime and meme communities and never run into animated giant tits any more.
I’m usually a SF guy but the most memorable read these past ~2 years was the fantasy books The First Law by Joe Abercrombie. The first book hooked me in and I ended up devouring all 9 books. The audiobook version read by Steven Pacey was superb, that man really breathed life into the characters and I’m glad I listened rather than read them.
I recall wanting to read more dark fantasy after and tried listening to Stormlight Archives on recommendation from a friend but the readers and writing was so bad in comparison I gave up after 2 hours.
Yes lol, Death’s voice also has reverb.
By adding plenty of reverb when they are read.
I want to support them but those games do not seem appealing to me. At all.
Book 5 of Discworld, Sourcery by Terry Pratchett. Pretty entertaining sillyness that I listen to @ work mostly.
Part of the collective would be slightly amused while other parts would be mildly irritated.
