That depends what you mean by “well being”. Tons of MAGA folk have voted for Republicans who are cutting the social services they depend on. Clearly that is self destructive, and they know it. Rural hospitals, food stamps, national pension, etc.
That is to say, your comment doesn’t line up with reality. There must be something more going on in their heads.
That whole time, Republicans couldn’t get anything else done. Just imagine what Democrats could actually obstruct if more of them had the values and willpower to do so.
McConnell and Paul also see the writing on the wall. When the cost of living skyrockets, if democracy somehow survives, the Republicans are right fucked.
Bernie is independent, so of course he can’t replace him… They aren’t in the same party.
Yalls have a guy convicted of rape facing zero consequences, and you think saying his name is a shit practice?
No, it’s not even close to one of the greatest threats. Of course it’s up to shady s***, of that there can be no doubt, but it’s not ranked in the top five.
Classic baitclick.
In Minot? Good god, not likely.
Now now. Don’t blame women.
Well now they are not getting the money. So their loophole did not work so well.
And risk losing the money? No, my friend. Safer to assume it’s fraud.
Moving to another country, especially when the native language is not English, that’s a massive challenge. It’s important that you’re going there for a positive reason. Otherwise you could have chosen anywhere, right? So your motivation to be a community member there would be low. So don’t just run away from Musk. Find other goals and reasons to aim for Italy.
Also, every country and city has some assholes loving in it. Not everyone is very kind. That’s life.
What the fuck headline is that. No, we haven’t done that, because we’re careful about that shit.
How can they catch people who have produced unlocked epubs? There are plenty of ways if they have your device at some future date.
I suppose the easiest predictable thing other than having your device seized when you’re entering the country for example or when you get arrested for example is that back doors could be installed on Android or iPhone that look for unapproved media.
The technology is already good enough for that. It’s only a question of implementation.
It’s interesting when people are put to the choice. On the one hand they could purchase a book with DRM that they don’t actually own. On the other hand, they could look for alternative means by which to obtain the book. And the more the publishers f*** with you, the more you might be inclined to never give them a penny.
When I’m shopping for cell phones and reading reviews a routinely see comments about the amount of bloatware embedded on various manufacturer’s devices. People actually do care about it, reviewers actually do write about it.
I don’t think postmodernism had much to do with it. Go ask your average MAGA racist if they even know what that term means and they’ll shrug their shoulders. Similarly, the research does not show that your echo chamber theory holds water, and in fact it suggests the opposite. In the days before the world wide web, people were actually stuck in echo chambers, that being the communities where they lived.
Doesn’t that depend on the forums, though? For many organizations, those sites fit the needs perfectly fine. If you don’t care about archiving and you would not be totally screwed if the forum disappeared tomorrow, you’re going to opt for something simple like that.
God bless DCVS.
The egg imports were not meant to reduce prices. That’s not how that works, my friends. They were there because imports are/were competitive when local chickens die and there’s a monopoly on the domestic industry that’s already price gouging.
