Apparently this was some sort of job posting “experiment” from a couple of years ago.
Yeah god, I forgot about Nutreks. I could go on for a while.
And people keep trying to convince me that I like Lower Decks (and I like The Orville), but I don’t.
Will it make my teeth fall out?
I weirdly like both.
But I like a lot of random shit.
Yeah no thanks
Yeah, good list.
I was in on Mr. Robot until it Fight Clubbed. Tried it a little bit after that, but completely lost interest.
Also not at all a fan of Walking Dead or most shows that are just depressing. Ive also always had this weird logical problem with Zombie apocalypses that never end. Like, I get it’s a monster movie/show, but eventually I’m like “alright, how are there still so many walkers when there’s been no food for years”.
I lost interest in Battlestar Galactica for a similar reason (depressing). Also how the fuck could they not somehow detect who was a Cylon. They apparently have shit built in that let them transmit their conclsciousness across the galaxy when they die, etc etc. Also all the other shit that never got exolained.
Game of Thrones lost me at Reek.
Haven’t gotten into Westworld.
My friends were all 100% convinced I’d be into Stranger Things but it just hasn’t clicked with me. I’m going to give it another try.
Also zero, zero “reality” shit.
I say this in real life, but when I say it I pronounce it the same both times.
Powershell very nice? No, in my opinion. Very powerful? Yes.
So many parts of it are so fucking weird.
My account still exists, and I will log in maybe once every 6 months when I need to for some reason. But that’s it. Sorta like LinkedIn.
Also no Threads, Instagram, etc.
I hear you. It’a almost as bad as Gimp vs Krita.
Can you explain that a little more? I’m guessing you meant secession, but even then I don’t get what you mean. Like, they seceded but the topic would be about WHY they did that.
But I’m probably missing something.
Ive definitely never, ever run into that. But I’m sure it happens.
Edit: I guess ive seen places that charged some nominal fee for the cup but it’s so rare
I find it faster, more stable, and just generally FEELS better than LibreOffice. Which I’m sure is because it isn’t carrying 30 years of Java baggage with it from the Star office/OpenOffice.org days. And ive had better luck with document compatibility in some cases.
The only complaint ive heard about it is just a smaller feature set than LibreOffice. But it does everything I want it to do.
Both are great, though.
Me too, but the uber-pessimism spoils it for me.
Here in the US, this seems so normal that it didnt even occur to me that this may not be true everywhere else. And not need to be enforced by law.
OnlyOffice is even better in several ways.
