A metric half shit-ton.
A metric half shit-ton.
It doesn’t matter that nothing matters because you can make your own meaning.
Does it count if you barely watched/played it?
I don’t specifically remember the boat, either, but it’s been decades since I was there.
Yes, I went there several times as a kid when I lived in Germany. It’s probably been 35 years or so since the last visit! I have the most random memory of being in the car on one of the trips there holding a little gold robot tchotchke I got at some souvenir store while Huey Lewis’s “If This Is It” played on the radio. That song came out in 1983, so it might have been the first time I visited there, probably around 1985 or so.
Ludwig got a bad rap. He wasn’t insane, but he was definitely eccentric and terrible with managing money. And probably autistic.
I’ve been there a few times, it’s great! It also has a really cool artificial grotto I don’t ever see mentioned.
“Beat” as in have more users? No, never, and it’s better that way. “Beat” as in be a better user experience for those who have the little bit of tech literacy need to use them? It has been for years.

The choices are using an established corporate platform with all the enshittification that inherently includes, deal with some friction from using an alternative federated platform as a tradeoff of avoiding that crap, or just stop using social media altogether. I really don’t recommend the first, but the second and third are both valid options.
Them’s fightin’ words!
No, this is the one I just switched to. No point in continuing to use the lemm.ee one.
It’s better on desktop. The thing they show first on mobile is the sidebar there.
Welp, time to switch accounts again. I made 3 during the early days when I was trying different instances out, and this one’s the third one.
It’s like being immersed in a good movie or game. You know it’s not real, but it still has meaning and is worth playing/watching.
