All my meetings are internal (i.e. not customer facing). I join 15-30 seconds after start time. That’s enough for other people to join in and I don’t have to do the awkward small talk with the host while waiting for others. If I’m hosting, I start the meeting 2 minutes early.

Depending on your level of comfort, over-ear headphones can be less or more hot than on-ear ones (rests around the ears vs on the ears). Openback headphones are open on the sides so they theoretically should be cooler as well.

You are being paid for your skills and availability, plus having to work at night. Your employer can pay someone cheaper who can be up all night but won’t know what to do if something does happen. They can also get someone who has the skills but won’t agree to do the job at night unless they are paid higher. Being able to do both is what they’re paying you for. I would suggest you use your time to maybe make your idle time productive, like learning something new (if you’re allowed to of course).

This is correct. I use the potassium alum one and it’s fine. The people who say it doesn’t work either don’t know how to use it or are just too sweaty that they need antiperspirant instead. They are only effective for max 24 hours in a regular setting (not exercising or sweating heavily), but ideally re-apply after 12 hours. So they don’t last as long as regular deodorant or antidepressant. Just make sure to apply regularly, and wash your pits before putting it on if you’re not fresh out of the shower. I’ce ruined a lot of shirts because of antiperspirant, and now I don’t have a problem.
Unfortunately some people are simply just too sweaty that antiperspirant is necessary. Your stink level also depends on the chemical makeup of your sweat. For example, a lot of koreans don’t stink when they sweat, lucky bastards.
Isn’t this more of making sure to cover all bases in case someone gets an idea of doing something dumb so they can sue? Especially in the US because it’s the most litigious country in the world.
As I get older, I noticed that around 50% of the time, if I have a slight headache, or don’t feel right or comfy for no reason (i.e. not sick), it’s because I need to poop. Even if I thought I was done for the day, sometimes there’s just some that remains that when I go for that last round, I’m suddenly 100% feeling ok and fresh.

I don’t read through nor comment on youtube videos at all. I just watch what I want/need to watch and close the window after. It’s not a good place or format for proper discussion so it’s never going to be a good experience. A proper place for discussion would be forum type formats with nested threads, like here on Lemmy. If you are still willing to read reddit comments instead, there’s a browser extension that replaces youtube comments with reddit comments. I don’t know how it works because I haven’t tried it myself, but that’s an option.
