Not at all anymore. Just please use your distros repositories.
I told my friend to just use the package manager but he was dead set on downloading the drivers from Nvidia’s website and installing them manually. Then complained how hard it was.
Ahh but see. Nintendo has taken down many fan made games for just using their IP. No copyright violations
It does… With emulation… That you can scale up to look better than any of Nintendo’s consoles can do… Plus mods, save states all the benefits of emulation…
Man if only Linux was open source and manufacturers could easily create drivers for it at any time…
I’ve been boycotting Microsoft for years. They’ve done so much in the past and people finally are doing it. I’m glad they are but this could have been avoided if everyone boycotted them earlier. Everyone that has bought an Xbox and gave them money aided them in genocide.

Yeah let me know when I can install mainline Linux.
Definitely a step in the right direction, but the fact that android uses the Linux kernel but still manufacturers keep so much proprietary… It kills me
A new Linux meme? I don’t believe it
This is why I’ve always loved unmarked clothes since I was in middle school. When I was a kid I was very cynical about being branded
A Thinkpad running windows is just disgraceful. Good hardware deserves good software
I use gnome software all the time and since the new update it’s so much faster
Fedora just werks™
I shouldn’t have to learn where setting is in the windows UI every few years but that’s just the shit we live in. I find Linux easier because I just have to change one word. In windows I got to go through three different setting panels. Same but different
I see your edits and I had the same experience with Ubuntu. For whatever reason on my ThinkPad I had bugs and just weird issues that no one else would run into every single time. And I would try Ubuntu after every major update and it would still be some weird bugs never the same ones.
I’ve now been using Fedora for almost 4 years it’s solid. I always recommend enabling RPM fusion to get those proprietary codecs and I like to change my zram config to what is recommended on the arch wiki.
People overlook how important software support is and with the deck you’re getting that. Plus the much larger user base for guides, parts, and community support.

I could get my Vita back from my friend. It’s been years though and he moved so I’m not even sure if he still has it
I believe it is. Because it started by saying it’s morally correct to pirate Nintendo products. I think shutting down fan projects is very anti-consumer and an abuse of their power. Which makes it morally correct to pirate their shit
