Anyway never mind that. Back down the fat mines

That’d be more of a Blackadder thing, surely. Feel like we’re getting our Rowan Atkinson characters mixed up
. philosophy is important, but implementation is importanter
Yes. This is the key
The only reason I give the slightest slightly green toilet-bowl-staining shit about this is because it upsets him and he deserves to be upset
As I want you to be
Yeah ok fine this is a pretty contentious point and you make the other side well. I was thinking more ‘being aggressive’ and such rather than ‘revealing bigotism’.
I’d be fucked because I work on and use OSS multiple times a day, and have no idea what a distributed maven central looks like
No idea why this is such a common belief. If you’re masking being a belligerent cunt, then you’re not being a beligerent cunt. The only people whose behaviour I trust are those who care about their behaviour being as such - at least you know they’re fucking trying
I don’t mind a bullshit meme, most memes are bullshit. Sometimes the bullshittery itself is the funny bit, or to put it another way, there are times like this where the absurdity of it is what’s funny to me. Like, Linux’s kill levels operate, as they must, as advice to the running process, because the os has no insight or capability as to how to gracefully close a process - nor should it. It’s an impossible task to know what safe cleanup looks like. But I like the image of the Linux penguin shooting Firefox tbqh
One task lifecycle management tool to bring them all, one tool to find them. One tool to rule them all and in the darkness bind them.
Is ASAP Linux a variant of Asahi that I’m not hip enough to get?
Not on my phone. I still haven’t even watched beyond season 1, I was just making a glib comment
Instead of being white it’s red
I know, right? It turns up on the sorrel in my garden every year
I was once like you. Until started optimising performance. There’s always a better way.
Try that count on each of 5 separate browser window. Amaeteur. I exaggerate, of course. Only a couple have that many tabs. I actually closed a window today - it only had 8 tabs - and opened a new one with more tabs from the references of the pages I closed. Eventually I will read the internet.
mRNA vaccines are, of course, just the absolute tits - but they’re a tiny proportion of modern vaccines and the very first ones are one a few years old, created to treat COVID. But yeah, 100%, we don’t use the virus in the vaccine! Even the first ever vaccine was (as you will know) not created from the disease it was meant to treat, but from one similar enough that it gave protection to the other. And smallpox doesn’t exist any more so, well, that worked out pretty well didn’t it. You don’t give someone the virus to stop them getting that virus, but you might well give them a virus, in an attenuated form of the target
That’s true, but in what spirit are you making that observation here?
