Im very surprised that Japan is so high up, considering how tiny it is.
Thats peak capacity i assume, not actual average production. If you average this over a year (including nighttime, sun angle and weather variation) its probably 1/10 of that or something like that. Still very decent.
Monthly Active Users :3
There will always be moderation. If you dont ban certain things, people will have to defederate your server or risk being raided by the police. That being said, there are some more lenient servers, but few servers are completely hands off. Your server is not what decides whether your post gets deleted or not however. That is always decided by the mod of the community you post/comment in.
Matrix and Email :D
Matrix certainly counts as “federated” which is whats in the title, but its not using activitypub so its not “fediverse”. Email is also federated and i assume you have that too lol
If an instance has multiple hundred active users, i doubt its going anywhere anytime soon. You can also just contact the admin of any server and ask how they fund it and what their future plans are. The “first seen” column also quickly gives you an idea of how long standing the server is.
Neither. Never go for an instance thats at the top in terms of user count unless there is a specific reason to do so. This applies to all fediverse or decentralized services.
Go for any of the ones below the red line or sort this table by MAU and find one even further down. Excluding US based servers is also something to think about.
Modern GPUs are easily 1000x faster than the ones back then, so 800k hours would be reduced to 800h which is a month worth of time. Thats just raw compute tho, there is lots of optimization work that has happened in the last 30 years, so its probably waaay less than that. I would expect it to be possible in a few days on a single high end GPU depending on how closely you want to replicate the graphics. Some rendering things might be impossible to reproduce in identical manner due to a loss of the exact system and software used back then.
Just sit next to the airport with a telescope on days you know he will be there. He would have to change IDs every flight to avoid this.
Nah this is funny af. Fuck religion.
If it “breaks” it might not actually sever the strands of the material, and behave more like wood splitting along its length. Also if it was oxidation then the whole cut surface on the right should be completely black.
It says “GrapheneOS developers do not wish to use reddit as a platform to discuss their products”. What do you not understand about this?
Also there isnt much of a point in dropping bombs on an empty field, so they are mostly found in populated areas. That means most of the ones close to the surface got found right after the war by people seeing the impact zone. The deeper ones just havent been found. So this kinda thing where its close to the surface, but hasnt been found, can only happen when the bomb was dropped in an area that wasnt frequented by people for a few years after the war. When it was freshly dropped it was probably quite visible.
This is a really unusual case. Never heard of finding a shell that close to the surface in that sort of position. What does constantly happen in europe tho is digging up bombs during construction works which leads to an evacuation of the neighborhood and a bomb disposal team coming.
The surface to the right has been cut, but the surface to the front (which has the dots), looks like it has been broken apart from the rest of the plant by force not cut with a knife. So why are these black dots only in that small area and not everywhere on the front facing surface? Something about the area i marked is different from the rest.
I dont wanna bully people for their donations too much, but yes, wikipedia is one of the lowest donation priorities out there.
Jokes on you, i came to work before everyone else so now im sitting here getting payed to scroll through your shitposts :D
