I’m fairly sure Bethesda released Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind with officially supported mod toolkits shipping on day one. The reason their games have official mod tools is to make it much easier to work with which leads to the huge number of mods in their games compared to other games, and contributes to the longevity of their games.
Yeah all the Troma stuff was the first thing that popped in my mind too, Nukem high, toxic avenger, etc
Jennifer’s Body made some money but was poorly critically received, but it is actually a pretty good horror movie that was marketed poorly
Lake Placid is meant to be a goofy comedy horror movie that is a fun watch and made just enough to trigger endless terrible sequels like Hellraiser and Amityville, reviews treated it like it was trying to play seriously but some of the lines are so cheesy
Kelly Scott: The lake is so black and still.
Sheriff Hank Keough: Yeah, we wanted to call it Lake Placid, but someone said that name was taken
If you’re into 80s action/thriller The Guest is an homage that does a really good job, and has a unique soundtrack
Brick, early 2000s neo noir with the cast talking like a bunch of 1920s private eyes and gangsters. Like The Guest it was received well critically but just had a really small release.
Blue Underground has a bunch of stuff no streaming service would ever touch
Patrons who buy a ticket
Also Tuesday, it comes after Friday except on even numbered years it’s after odd numbered Mondays. On leap years it starts halfway through Wednesdays.
Become a congressperson, they get Medicare for life just like every other citizen should have but don’t because Congress will grant it to themselves but not everyone else. If it’s good enough for them it should be good enough to cover us.
Korn shell scripts get all the subsidizes anyways
Cream of mushroom soup is top tier along with pumpkin/squash soup, dill pickle soup, lentil, and lemon rice.
Lots of Spielberg directed stuff fits here I think like close encounters, Indiana Jones, Jaws
The blues brothers I remember was a lot of fun & don’t recall anything that stands out as too adult. tons of music, violence is not very serious
mst3k/rifftrax take a lot of old cheap movies and have comedians joke over the movie’s audio, I think most of it is pretty pg-13 stuff but not pandering to kids
Some Coen brothers/Ethan Coen movies like O brother where art thou and raising Arizona, true grit, add a bit more complexity to stories over kids movies, but keep the violence not too scary
Maniac Mansion: day of the tentacle includes the full first maniac Mansion game on weird Ed’s computer in the room with him and the hamster
EverQuest /gems and /pizza
Use your blinker, return your cart to the corral, and mind your business
I’m sure I’ve missed it sometimes over the years, but if you make it a habit it’s harder to forget or ignore
I get the idea that it’s only temporary, but I’d much rather have a current gen AI paint a picture than attempt to program a guidance system or a heart monitor
John Dies At The End. Weird, sci-fi horror comedy that nobody saw
Budget <$1 million, box office $141,951
The story was originally written as a serial and released on a web site for free before getting sold as a book, the movie cuts out big sections that makes some scenes meaningless or contradicting earlier scenes. I think it’s pretty fun to watch and it has a low budget sci-fi charm, but I get why it didn’t do well. Given another screenwriter/director I think it could be retried.
The censorship on the movie The Big Sleep, based on a book about a pornography ring run by organized crime, was released at a time when they censored everything to the point of making the movie into a kind of nonsense with Bogart talking fast and Bacall singing a song about DV.

Yeah hamburgers with a little pb on top is great, hummus works good too
Genesis Streets of Rage is still one of my favorite soundtracks
Peanut butter is a big one for a lot of weird combos, goes well with burgs, fruit, cereal, etc, hummus is a good substitute too
Mustard has some weird ones eggs, mayo, salty stuff like chips and pretzels
Waldorf salad is basically fruit, mayo, and nuts it was popular enough you can still find it some places
On the playground kids would follow other kids who they felt were confident or charismatic, not who had the best ideas or were most concerned with fairness or equity. It’s just childish, naive notions of importance that are leaking out into the broader society due to social media, culture of celebrity, etc.
