Just finished season 2 of Dark

It’s excellent. I love they don’t care about the usual time-travel paradox, but embrace it

Why can’t I be my own grandfather after all?

The Pitt is really good. The hour-by-hour concept from 24, applied to an emergency room at a hospital

Last week and THIS WEEKS episodes have been my favorites. I hope this show runs (with the same quality) for a long while.

how is the new season of White Lotus? I swore after s02 that I wouldn’t watch it anymore, it’s just so toxic …

I actually like the new season! It’s set in Thai and I like how the show portrays bourgeoisie people and how it goes tense in later episodes!

Watched the first 3 episodes. I think its pretty boring. The setting is beautiful and the characters are good, but it’s dragging on very slowly

interesting, I have been enjoying it …

it's not like there hasn't been plenty going on (spoilers):

like the gunman robbing the store and having an insider with the Russian masseuse

or the family man’s office getting raided by the FBI and losing everything

and the woman getting bit by the cobra, lol

did you watch the first two seasons and think they were boring too? I would imagine some people prefer more action, but this just isn’t that kind of show, it’s more about the relationships and the ways people make bad choices and hurt themselves and others (honestly it’s sorta toxic, I swore off this show, but yet again I’m here watching it)

    Motherland.

Really funny. But hasn’t got the characters for repeat viewing of other graham Linehan or Sharon Horgan productions. I’m glad to see graham mentioned in credits.less and less as I progress.

What did you think about High Potential? I thought it was fine, and I’ve heard it got a second season, but I’m not sure if I’ll tune in.

The main character never forgets anything, unless they sometimes do. The missing husband plot is weird because what they’ve uncovered so far seems like something the main character would have already discovered. She doesn’t give the vibe of someone who just asks the police a few times and then stops.

The week to week plots are sometimes a bit over the top, the printer for example.

I dunno. It’s a fine show, I hope it improves.

Also since it’s Kaitlin Olsen, The Mick was excellent.

I’m only three episodes into High Potential, but it’s uneven I would say - the second episode made me not want to watch another, it was low-quality CW type stuff. The show feels trope-ish. I doubt a second season would be better, it is already so formulaic, I would guess they would farm out more and more of the talent to reduce costs and streamline production.

It was just something to watch after finishing s02 of Silo, which was another show that made me want to quit early on, but I was glad I stuck it out - so I guess I’m contemplating the value of giving shows second chances.

Just finished the first season of Paradise. Started out like a generic mystery/thriller show in a barely scifi setting, but got really good in the later episodes. 2nd to last episode was amazing.
