My answer to everything is taking a walk in the forest with my dog. (Just step out the door and we are there) Just me and him. Tired? Walk my dog in the forest. Got stuck in a project? Walk my dog in the forest. Bad mood? Walk my dog in the forest. Solved my problem? Walk my dog in the forest. Is it ten past some thing? Walk my dog in the forest.

A walk outdoors, preferably in a natural setting like mountains, a forest, or fields. Bonus if there is a creek or river.

Literally grounding myself with bare feet on soil or stone. Preferably in the sun somewhere quiet.

Or I like to meditate to hand pan music.

That sounds amazing. Grounding on bare ground is unironically underrated

It really is. It sounds so simple and almost foolishly so…

But I find it very effective!

do you go to some specific source? or know of a “find random poetry” place? iirc the ones I found in the past left me unenthusiastic

I have some niche tastes haha. There’s more poetry I don’t enjoy than I do enjoy. I usually like to read ancient Chinese poetry, or when it comes to modern poetry, the likes of Gary Snyder, Nanao Sakaki or Mary Oliver. Poetry with a simple surface but that holds deep meaning. I tend to prefer reading physical books. You can always try out some compilations of poetry to find out what you like. Poetry Foundation website is great as well when it comes to finding poets and poetry. It took me many years before I realised I liked poetry… just because it’s such a subjective art. Poetry doesn’t equal having to read Shakespeare or Keats.
