      Bit of a catch-22 when you’re a public official. It would make sense for them to just use cross-posting client to cover their bases, but I doubt they know that.

      Why wouldn’t they be? It’s kinda stupid to just let your enemy run a massive platform without having a presence there.

        1. because it’s supporting it
        2. because it’s a fascist cesspool
        3. ‘the enemy’ runs all social media except Mastodon (for tweet-like things)
        4. being on Xitter gives Xitter authority and power over their words, not to mention personal data.
