I normally use the version (pictured to the right) from the F-Droid repo. I was curious about what features the version (pictured to the left) from the IzzyOnDroid repo had since it supposedly has non-free components and promotes non-free network services. After testing it and comparing it for a few minutes I can’t really find any differences. The package names and file sizes are different though. Does anybody else know?

How does this answer the question? It describes the difference between 3 versions (google, github, f-droid), none of which are Izzy. Is Izzy version one of those?

Izzyondroid is an f-droid repository. Basically a list of apps. Izzyondroid isn’t really relevant to the question.

The bottom of each screenshot shows the version name. One of them ends in .web which is a different version of the app, and the link i shared talks about the different versions of the app.

Well the OP was asking what the difference between the version from the f-droid repo and the version from the Izzy repo is. I am now also curious about the difference between those two versions.

          • Fdroid uses fdroid version. As pictured bottom of right screenshot.
          • Izzy repo uses web version. As pictured bottom of left screenshot

The link i provided discusses the difference in these two versions (along with the third version).
