Whoopsie! My reading comprehension is borked.
Bard plus martials is also a good party, but you’d be missing some things for sure. And if the martials get AOE’d or the bard gets attacked, things could go south very fast.
But it would be fun regardless:)
Buffs don’t stack is what’s stopping things. You can have a few bonuses, but you’ll only ever take the best of those types. So you can have an item bonus, a status bonus, and a circumstance bonus.
Item bonuses are pretty straightforward.
Status bonuses are typically from spells, so Guidance, Athletic Rush, etc.
Circumstance bonuses are a little harder to pin down because they can be finicky and decided by the GM. But it’s typically an environmental effect. Strong winds at your back give you a +2 circumstance bonus to Tumble Through maybe.
So say you have a striking rune, Guidance, and a circumstance bonus to give you more, that’s generally looking at +1+1+2. So that is very good, having a +4 to hit.
But honestly, Pathfinder is built for tactics like that and encourages them. Flanking, frightened, slowed, sickened, prone, off-guard, etc. All of the penalties you can stack on an enemy are there for a reason, and being able to take advantage of that tactically is all part of the game. Assuming you have a good GM.
So yeah, make a party of bard bard bard fighter and see where it gets you. I guarantee it’s not optimal, but it’d be fun.
I work with computers to map things.
Across my various jobs in this field, the days were usually varied but fairly busy.
I worked for a government agency that would map abandoned mines and locations of mishaps to better understand what kind of environmental issues were posed. This involved meetings with hydrologists, miners, drone pilots, and field workers. It also had some field visits, itself.
Another one, I worked for a city’s outreach program and I often was in meetings explaining what I could do, and then I’d have to gather maps and data to put together the product they wanted.
For another job, I had to cross reference a ton of city and county data to find land lots that were large enough for a developer to potentially purchase and then build housing on. This included looking at zoning laws and reading a ton of documentation about new zoning and votes for such a thing. Also included learning about what each category of zoning meant.
Currently I work for an energy company and it’s varied in a lot of ways. My day to day is never the same and is kind complicated to the average bear.
BADOO BADOO BADOOP BADOO DOOOOO
The OG was Teardrop by Massive Attack, right?
I can also fall asleep very easily, but I cannot just get up to save my life. I envy that ability.
That… That is wild
Chocolate chip cookies dipped in fruit punch or pink lemonade instead of milk.
The tang with the sweet crunch is delicious
Ah. Yep. I did the same in a way. Thankfully mine is tiny and still means enough to me and is detached from the relationship enough that I can enjoy it as it is.
Saw the image, thought - oh, this must be a new Wes Anderson movie. Read the post title… Ayup.
The man has such a specific style. Love it
Testosterone Georg, who live in a library and dopes up on T is an outlier and should not have been counted.
Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
Basically, the artery running between my heart and lungs just started closing itself up for no discernable reason. That means rhat my body isn’t getting nearly enough oxygen and that the right side of my heart is working itself to failure to try to compensate.
I don’t regret the words of the tattoo I have, I just regret that I didn’t do a consultation first and went right into it. It’s… Not good and hardly legible. The coloring also looks bad imo, which is frustrating because I really looked at the artists profile beforehand and liked it quite a bit. Ouch.
It’s got Ryan Gosling cast as the main, I think?
Fell very sick and was diagnosed with a rare condition. It’s allowed me to be more honest about how I’m feeling generally. And the lawsuit I won in regards to the whole thing allows me to live a modestly comfortable life whether working or not.
Woah. How does that work?
A well designed back yard with a gardener to help keep it nice and tidy. I fucking love flowers and landscaping, but I just can’t do it myself.
What was your dream job as a kid?
What is it now? (Assuming you are not a kid)
I was diagnosed with a nasty rare condition at 26 and since then have been taking a minimum of 7 a day.
However my highest is probably 21 a day. (I ran out of a medication I take at 1600mcg, and was supplemented with 200mcg pills for a week or so. So 2 doses a day of that is already 16 pills.)
