So your examples are “things that happened to me in high school”, and “movies which are obviously real”?
Again I’m going to have to ask you to leave your basement and interact with real people. You are wrong.

Oh and what’s there, subservient “trad wives”? Get out of your basement and stop blaming others for your problems.
If someone yelled about asking politely in an acceptable social situation, then they were wrong. That is not normal. It’s certainly not a regular occurrence.
That being said, given your prior comment, which just screams “incel, mgtow, etc”, I’m gonna go ahead and doubt you saw what you say you did.
I know that’s what they are saying, I guess I think they’ll blink when a large percentage of users don’t buy a whole new computer just for a new Windows version.
I’ll believe that they’ll stop shipping security patches when they actually do it. It would obviously be a terrible idea for the reason you stated.
I have never understood this attitude in the open source community. You’ll mouth off all day about how profit is bad, but so many projects can only survive with the backing of invested companies. You’re chasing the perfect at the expense of the good. Would Wine even exist today without CrossOver? I think no.

He literally did say that he doesn’t have the time to maintain it anymore, in large part because of entitled users like you! You clearly didn’t read the article, and responded to the headline.
The kid is 18 and in college, you think this should be his full time job? And the “evil paid app” in this situation contributes all their work upstream to Wine, so the definition of a positive actor in the community.
What have you done by the way? What’s your contribution?
Even that is too strong, imo. The vast majority of empathy lacking conservatives are themselves dirt poor, and on the plate of another.
But it still hurts to think about how bad others might have it, especially when you’re so beat down by life that you are barely making it by yourself, so they buy into an easier answer, “the other”.
I hope empathy has a place in this conversation too!
Oh ok so you never had a point that you were capable of defending, lost the plot a couple posts ago, and have now decided that it’s everyone else’s fault.
Welcome to the internet! First time?
Ok but that’s not some universally recognized term, and is more ambiguous than what you objected to. Try again?
OK smart guy, which word would have been better?
No, it’s higher than a full squat, and you aren’t really leaning on anything. If you want to be super fucking pedantic you could call it a half stand I guess, but the point is your butt is off the seat.
There’s no good word for that position, and you’re doing your best to point out perceived flaws in wording rather than trying to understand.
He sounds overly sensitive, I wouldn’t worry about it’
Well we do have laws against fraud, deceptive marketing, etc. It’s hard for me to imagine what we would be arresting someone for unless it were one of those already illegal acts.
It’s nice to say it should be illegal to take advantage of someone, but who decides if that happened, and by what criteria?
They do controlled burns, but the ability to do that safely has been hampered by years of drought conditions. At least Democrats admit climate change exists I guess?
I highly recommend Indian cuisine! They aren’t trying to replace meat, just making delicious foods that often don’t contain meat!
“Research it on my own”? By doing what? Running clinical trials? We have experts as a society for a reason.
You’re probably the kind of person who thinks it’s a massive government overreach that you’re forced to wear a seatbelt.
Sorry I thought we were talking about “talking to women in appropriate situations” as an adult. So no, high school is obviously not relevant.
The majority of humans have awkward, embarrassing, and cringy memories from high school. If you’re stuck on that as an adult, and I mean this with genuine compassion, I suggest therapy.
