It’s stressful. There’s a looming sense of dread I think a lot of people are feeling these days, knowing something else awful is coming over the horizon. Hell, my doctor today was jokingly recommending copious drinking to cope.

I guess I just feel pretty powerless and hopeless a lot of the time. It’s all so fucking stupid.

I’m grateful for my husband, who tirelessly puts up with all of my crazy. I’m so fucking glad he’s around.

Probably mostly cooking, cleaning, going on adventures with the dog, playing music, and smoking extravagant amounts of weed

Its all for personal pleasure and stems from a lack of empathy. They either enjoy the feelings of power over others, or it makes them feel good and they don’t even bother thinking of others in the first place. Be it general abuse, sexual assault, or even killing and eating, cruelty is done for personal gain.

I had a pretty low key day today, and things went smoothly and painlessly. Just had to:

1: Get dressed for sexy Sunday

2: Go shopping for a friend’s last minute birthday present

3: See said friends, hang out for a bit

4: Go home

5: Make dinner

Step five is all that’s left, and prep is done so it should be easy peasy.

I feel bad for you though, that’s a brutal work schedule. I remember doing 50-55 hour weeks and not having any time or energy left to really care for myself, doing even more than that is just wild to me. I hope it’s at least setting you up for a lovely future!

Playing an instrument, it’s something I think everyone should try to learn to do at some point. It’s mentally stimulating, it’s creative, and it can be a lot of fun. You don’t have to be good at it to be good enough for you to enjoy.

I finally got a new dishwasher to replace the one that was spewing water, and my husband promised he’d tackle getting the laundry washing machine replaced with one that works soon. I’m very excited for when i get to stop going to the laundromat!

In Magic the Gathering it’s usually correct to wait to play instant spells until your opponent’s turn, either on their upkeep or end step in most cases. Waiting as long as you can gives you more information to make the best play.
