I would ask nicely first before becoming aggressive. What’s going on in your head and how you perceive events might totally be different than him. I used to get up at 3am because I liked it. Tried to be quiet but people are imperfect.
No he bangs loudly on the wall when I shower late , he also imitates my cats and makes loud chair ahreching noises any time it meows
It sounds like this is a case of two noisy neighbours hating each other’s noise, lol
