I figured someone would say it eventually. Money helps, but all the money in the world doesn’t make it easy to be active and healthy in your 90s. Not yet, anyway.
Facts. DVD has prioritized his health his entire life, and had some luck and good fortune to supplement his effort. We should all be so lucky.

Movement is so important, both mentally and physically.
I think he also has a genetic advantage, but even though he’s slowed down a lot, he runs circles around people 30 years younger than him, mentally and physically.

As an old man, I’ll say that getting older is better than the alternative. But, given the choice, I wouldn’t get older at all.
Dick is enjoying life, he’s not enjoying being old.
I’m happy getting older, for now, and that ain’t gonna last. The aches, pains, other weirdness doesn’t bother me so much, but the damned reading glasses give me fits.
Worn glasses since I was five. Now I have to either carry a pair along with wearing contacts, or take regular glasses off to read.
Working outside has noticeably improved my close vision though!
You might try the progressive lenses. Some people hate them, and I was worried I would, but my opthalmologist talked me into trying them and they’re great.

Absolute legend and if anything can motivate you to live a healthy and active lifestyle it should be this. Man looks sprightlier than many 50-year-olds, never mind almost double that!
I loved his Diagnosis Murder show back in the 90s.
No wonder he is still spritely in Mary Poppins. I wish I would still be as fit as him at his age!
