I would love to be off the meds, but it’s likely not a long term thing for me. I suffer from long-term depression; it can last years at a time. Therapy has been extremely helpful, but I still have to deal with my demons.
Just a guy wandering aimlessly through this world.

I decided to focus my energy and anger on raking leaves; four hours and 663 gallons (17 bags at 39 gallons each) of leaves later, I was feeling better (mentally; physically I’m going to regret it tomorrow).
My doc told me to stop taking the meds. I’m waiting on him to review my ekg that he also said I get.
And unfortunately until the community puts their collective foot down, these game developers (Nintendo, EA, etc) will continue churning out dog shit.
here because aliens tried to bum fuck me (no questions about got why im in here allowed)
You know what else hasn’t kept up with inflation? Wages.
So before you go espousing raising prices, let’s first make it so people can afford the higher costs.
Let’s please not discuss if capitalism is good.
Brings up the “merits” of capitalism, but refuses to discuss the “merits” of capitalism.
It’s just the way it is.
Yeah, it’s because have this mentality that it’s this way.
Btw: capitalism is a plague on society and has done nothing but ruin the things we (consumers) hold dear, because capitalism stifles innovation and wrings whatever blood from a turnip it can.
Unpopular opinion:
They could probably charge $100 and people would still buy them, despite knowing the games aren’t worth that much. Consumers don’t really care; they just want their dopamine fixes. Nintendo could wrap a literal turd up and label it the next Zelda game, and people would bum rush stores with fistfuls of money to buy it; just because.
Hoarding and not sharing is the real shame in times of need.
There is nothing wrong in with being prepared for any contingency; especially when you feel you can see it coming. Even if the extra food, batteries, or water only lasts for a short time, that’s a short time you didn’t have to worry about those things. When you can extend someone else’s peace of mind, even just a bit, then all the more better.
It is a tragedy that it takes such travesty for people to be human with each other.
Come on y’all. Everyone knows the civil war was not about slavery. It was about state’s rights *.
~* their right to own slaves~
As a Mac user, I like Time Machine for backups. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done. There is a Linux version.
Nb. I’ve not used this particular software, so YMMV.
I’m a programmer, and I’ve always looked at programming as the mental version of physical labor. I get it’s not quite the same, but the level of creativity and ingenuity is the same.
I thought about saying that, but it didn’t feel right considering that phrase is usually meant for our servicemen and women of the armed forces.
How do you keep the chin pry from riding up?
Yeah, it’s def better than dirtying up your clothes, especially when you can’t wash any clothes due to no water. 😥 😂
Those n95’s from 3m suck shit. The nose part has a gasket, which is great, but the chin part keeps riding up and I have to keep adjusting it. 0/10 will never buy again. Thanks for the tips!
What?? Can’t hear you over La Grange.
Edit: speeling
Thanks. I had a second quote today at half the price. But honestly, it’s 370 sqft, so I’m going to clean it and vapor barrier it myself. I appreciate the luck!
I got my first quote today. Not as bad as I expected, but there are some things I’m going to do myself (remove and bag insulation and get my own dehumidifier) that will drastically reduce the costs. They are definitely padding their numbers because they’re quoting almost 90 hours of work for what they quoted as 370 sqft.
These are all great suggestions. I’ve definitely considered volunteering at the local animal shelter.
