Just a guy wandering aimlessly through this world.

I thought about saying that, but it didn’t feel right considering that phrase is usually meant for our servicemen and women of the armed forces.
How do you keep the chin pry from riding up?
Yeah, it’s def better than dirtying up your clothes, especially when you can’t wash any clothes due to no water. 😥 😂
Those n95’s from 3m suck shit. The nose part has a gasket, which is great, but the chin part keeps riding up and I have to keep adjusting it. 0/10 will never buy again. Thanks for the tips!
What?? Can’t hear you over La Grange.
Edit: speeling
Thanks. I had a second quote today at half the price. But honestly, it’s 370 sqft, so I’m going to clean it and vapor barrier it myself. I appreciate the luck!
I got my first quote today. Not as bad as I expected, but there are some things I’m going to do myself (remove and bag insulation and get my own dehumidifier) that will drastically reduce the costs. They are definitely padding their numbers because they’re quoting almost 90 hours of work for what they quoted as 370 sqft.
It is. It explains a few things, like why my power bill went up and why I felt like I never had enough hot water. But I’m taking quotes and making a list of things I need to get done. It’s strangely calming.
Less Than points to the left <
(shape of an L), while Greater Than points to the right (I got nothing other than it’s not an L).
I believe it’s because we read from left to right, so the prominent number is on the left (I.e., 8 is less than 10
= 8 < 10
).
Anyways, great advice! Carry on!
😊

I’m not too sure about neovim, but in regular vim you can do yy
and grab the entire line (including the line break).
Gosh. How will you figure that out? Searching up “neovim docs” in a search engine only gets you to the neovim documentation. THEN, you have to search the documentation for “paste”. It’s TWO WHOLE STEPS.
Wow, that’s so hard. It’s no wonder that you posted to Lemmy to make someone else do the hard work of … <checks notes> using a search engine with your own two unbroken hands.
Yo dawg. You could’ve just downvoted and moved on with your day. But instead, you decided to show the entire internet what a self-important dick you are.
I’ll let you in on a little secret: not everybody learns the same way that you do. Also, not everyone has the same level of experience. Being kind is free. Being an ass is… well, embarrassing. Do better.
I felt that way about binary.
Apple seeds contain cyanide, and are easy to get in quantity without raising suspicion. How long does it take? No idea.
I have TRD, and right now the only thing that’s been working is using CBD gummies in conjunction with my antidepressants and talk therapy.
I’ve said it before, and now that I’ve watched it, I’ll say it again: this is a future cult classic. I’d even go as far as putting it up there with 12 Monkeys.
Similar to another commenter, I’m not usually a Patterson fan, but he nailed this role perfectly. Ruffalo too. His cringe factor was out of this world (pun intended).
I’m not a historian, but my guess is that we have lived too many generations without major political incident; the kind you’re supposed to make heads roll over.
We’ve been indoctrinated since birth to blindly love our country, to mind what we say; we have seen other countries and their political unrest, and we ignorantly convinced ourselves that it will never be like that here.
And despite the cop out response of “we vOtEd fOr it”, otherwise good, hardworking Americans were lied to by their friends, family, church, and beloved government for so long that they can’t know any better.
Make no mistake, we fucked up and let our hubris get the better of us. I hope we can see the error of our ways and fight back before it really is too late.
As a Mac user, I like Time Machine for backups. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done. There is a Linux version.
Nb. I’ve not used this particular software, so YMMV.
